RECONNECTIVE HEALING ADDRESSES CAUSES, NOT SYMPTOMS
Article in Holistic Health (May 2012)
Since we were short on time towards the end, I thought to quickly finish the gig here and share the nuts and bolts of what is Reconnective Healing, and why it’s worth knowing about. And in fact, I think no-one can afford to not know about this and not include it in their decision making for appropriate healthcare.
Reconnective Healing is a holistic, non-invasive approach to healthcare that offers benefits without risk. It’s as valuable for preventing illness, as it is for restoring wellbeing. Reconnective Healing addresses causes, not symptoms. It revolves around wellbeing and essentially promotes a return to balance.
Here’s how I think about it: If health is balance, any illness can be viewed as an imbalance of your system. Reconnective Healing works for so many different conditions, because it addresses underlying causes, rather than patching up symptoms, which are only expressions of whatever imbalance currently exists. That said, appreciate your symptoms, even if it’s difficult. They are important messengers that say: ‘Hey, something’s amiss. Please tend to it.’ Imagine touching a hot stove, and you wouldn’t get any symptoms. It would make for quite a mess. Thankfully, your nervous system lets you know immediately, and your quick reaction prevents serious damage. You symptoms, unpleasant as they can be, are valuable. Their leaving also tells you you’re right on track with how you’re currently aiding your body in its healing process.
Reconnective Healing helps your body reset on a cellular level without adding or taking anything away. Essentially, it promotes a return to balance, thereby withdrawing the very foundation of illness. Any illness (and its accompanying symptoms) based on an existing imbalance must fall away when the system rights itself by returning to balance. That, in a nutshell, is why Reconnective Healing is so powerful, why it does not diagnose, and why it is also very useful as a preventive measure.
Some people experience this shift back to balance as immediate change. They walk in with pain and leave without it. They present with a limited range of motion, and it is partially or fully restored. Their arthritis is much improved or simply gone. They regain their perspective in life, instead of feeling hopeless. They feel old injuries improve. They cope with their life situation a lot better, able to move forward. And all of this after only 1-3 sessions. That is, in 90 minutes or less. For other people, it develops over time, as is common with attitude changes and addictions. The person does not notice anything straight away, until it occurs to them later that they didn’t have a smoke in a while, didn’t binge lately or didn’t touch any alcohol or other substances (drugs) for some time. There are countless examples illustrating the benefits of Reconnective Healing.
I recommend trying this at least once. It is the simplest, easiest and most pleasant approach to healthcare I’m aware of. It is as much restoring the body, as it is preventing illness. Whatever you do, find a practitioner near you and get a session. It’s well worth it. For some people, it’s the best thing they ever did.
THE BRAIN DOES NOT CREATE CONCIOUSNESS – March 2014
In a recent interview on Waking Times aired on The People’s Voice Network, Dr. Eben Alexander, Harvard Neurosurgeon presents compelling scientific research in the field of consciousness that examines the unfolding reality that the brain does NOT create consciousness. Misleading concepts that focus on reductive materialism have kept us in the dark about the true nature of the human soul and its integral part in our evolution as spiritual beings.
“The old paradigm of birth to death represents an outdated concept that is woefully inadequate in defining the unfolding reality of expanded awareness,” he stated in the interview with Waking Times. “Materialist science is at the end of its days as most scientists are changing their views. The old concepts are soon to be relegated to the same dust bin as ‘the earth is flat’ as we develop a more mature understanding and transcend old beliefs.”
Supported by worldwide research that is now delving into the concepts of string theory that involves a complete reworking of our outdated and limited views of space/time means that we are now entering a phase where science will greatly expand its boundaries. The foundation of the research begins with the clear understanding of the “Soul”, or conscious spirit, that exists outside of the body and is eternal.
“Consciousness is at the core to unfolding all of reality”, states Alexander.
The brain operates the body based on input from the personality, but the higher intelligence, or subconscious, is the mechanism that controls the body, and that is the soul that we have yet to acknowledge or even begin to understand. That is the free will component that exists long after the body stops. Near-death, paranormal, mysticism, past life memories, and akashic records are now a common thread that drives home the conclusion that there exists a soul within the human body that transcends the human experience. As we acknowledge the essence of our soul, we let go of the limitations of the illusional earth-based mentality and reach out to the greater cosmos of life. Many additional realms exist beyond the earth and in other dimensions of time/space. As spiritual beings, we can easily access these places.
Edgar Cayce, the father of holistic medicine, pioneered the concept in modern times that we are indeed“spiritual beings having a human experience”, but this is only a reemergence of what our ancestors already knew. This time on earth will be one where we all transcend the false boundaries that convince us that we are separate entities and develop the understanding of the oneness that we all share, meaning that we don’t have to be either scientific or spiritual. Merging science and spirituality creates a new foundation for our peaceful coexistence in the greater cosmos.
