Many of us “do good”. We give of our time, our money, our expertise.
We believe that we do this out of the goodness of our hearts, yet when the gift / the gesture is not acknowledged, we feel affronted and taken for granted and many even go as far as judging the other for their lack of gratitude. It’s quite something to be able to simply GIVE and expect nothing in return. To simply GIVE and feel the difference you’ve made in another’s life – the impact your word or your deed had. To GIVE not because you wish to feel good, but simply because you wish to share with another – be it your time, your money or your insights / expertise.
Indeed, the Gift is in the Giving.
